Bridge Replacement in Fulton County
The proposed project will consist of replacing the bridge that carries State Route 29 over Caroga Creek in the Town of Ephratah. The existing abutments will be partially removed to provide protection for the proposed abutments. The proposed structure will span 70ft and consist of a steel multi-beam bridge supported on concrete abutments with piles and a reinforced concrete deck. An upgraded bridge rail system and curb will be installed. Traffic will be maintained by an off-site detour utilizing State Route 10 and 10A which will divert traffic 4 miles and have a travel time of approximately 5 minutes.
